How to join Affiliate Program and become a Partner in Deribit

Affiliate Program

Deribit allows its users to become affiliates by referring new users to our platform. These users can generate income based on trading fees collected by Deribit. An affiliate can earn up to 20% of these fees.

New users signing up through a valid affiliate link will get a 10% discount on trading fees for the first six months.

How to Become an Affiliate?

To activate the affiliate program on your account, click on your username (upper right corner), go to “My Account” and click “Affiliate”. To participate, you must agree to our general Terms of Service and the Terms Conditions detailed below. 

Terms

You agree:
(1) to use our services in an ethical manner and conformity with community standards;

(2) to respect the protection provided by applicable laws and regulations;

(3) to respect the privacy of other users (you shall not intentionally seek data or passwords belonging to other users, nor will you modify files or represent yourself as another user unless explicitly authorized to do so by that user);

(4) to respect the legal protection provided by copyright law, trade secret law, or other laws protecting intellectual property;

(5) to accept commercial emails from us; (6) not affiliate yourself to gain income on your personal trading.

Commissions  

We agree to pay you the affiliate part of the transaction fees (the ‘Commissions’) for the referral sales made by you. New users that sign up through a valid affiliate link will get a 10% discount on trading fees for the first 6 months.

If Deribit collects fees in BTC (Bitcoin), Deribit will pay affiliate commissions in BTC. If Deribit collects fees in ETH (Ethereum), Deribit will pay affiliate commissions in ETH. If Deribit collects fees in USDT (USD Tether), Deribit will pay affiliate commissions in USDT.

Commission Structure for the Affiliate

Assignment of Contract

This agreement is personal to you. You may not assign your rights under this agreement without our prior written consent. If you do assign your rights, as would be the case in which someone other than you would use your account, you shall remain liable to us for any commissions due under this agreement. We may assign this agreement at any time.


Advertising Policies

You are not allowed to place any advertisements or referral links of Deribit on any (public) websites from the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, or any other country. You agree to respect the protection provided by securities law and other applicable laws and regulations of your country of residence and any other country.

Warranties Indemnification  

You understand that Deribit does not guarantee or predict any type of profit or response from said services. You agree to hold Deribit harmless from any and all losses, claims, expenses, lawsuits, damages, costs, demands or liabilities, joint or several, of whatever kind or nature, which Deribit may become subject arising out of or relating in any way to the use of the services provided under this agreement. This indemnification applies in each case to and includes, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses actually incurred in defending against or enforcing any such losses, claims, expenses, suits, damages or liabilities.


Change of Terms Conditions

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of this agreement as needed. The use of our services by you after said changes constitutes acceptance of those new terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the new terms and conditions, you may terminate this agreement.


Notification of Account Changes

You agree to provide us with such other information relating to your use of this service as we deem necessary or desirable. You agree to notify us if your address, email address, telephone number, billing information changes.


Notices

All notices, requests, demands, and other communications under this agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been given on the date of delivery: if delivered personally to the party to whom notice is to be given; if sent by electronic mail email.


Termination

If we learn of a violation or likely violation of these Terms Conditions, we will attempt to notify you. If you do not take immediate remedial action, which is satisfactory to us, or in the event of a severe violation of the Terms Conditions, we reserve the right to terminate your account immediately.  Should you use our services as part of any bulk email campaign, your account will be terminated immediately and without warning. You may also be subject to fines and legal actions as a result of your bulk email promotion. 


General Provisions

If at any time any provision of these Terms Conditions is or becomes illegal, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the Terms Conditions. We will replace such invalid provision by such other provision, which, being valid in all respects, shall have an effect as close as possible to that of the replaced provision.

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between us pertaining to its subject matter and supersedes all of our prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

No supplement, modification, or amendment of this agreement shall be binding unless executed in writing by both parties.

Any failure or delay by us to enforce any provision of these Terms of Service or to exercise any right under these Terms of Service will not be construed as a waiver to any extent of our rights.

These Terms of Service and all of the agreements to which these Terms of Service apply are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes that may arise between you and us may be exclusively submitted to the competent Court of the judicial district Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
